WIDT MILTON GPS 2002, WI, is a Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WIDT) survey disk located along the north side of County Highway M about 6.9 miles north of downtown Janesville, Rock County, WI. The disk is mounted flush with the surface in the top of a round, concrete monument. It is about 0.37 miles west of the Interstate Highway 39 and 90 overpass over County Highway M, about 0.1 miles east of the intersection of North Newville Road and County Highway M, 141 feet northeast of power pole number 2E30W2A, 135.5 feet west of a yellow, wood right-of-way post, 43.3 feet north of the centerline of County Highway M, and 6.6 feet south of the Edge of a cultivated field. The station is flanked on three sides by orange WIDT witness posts. The disk was monumented by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in 2001, and is stamped MILTON W GPS 2002. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DG4990 (
visit link) . To reach from Exit 171 off Interstate Highway 39 and 90, go southwest on County Highway 26 (Milton Avenue) for about 0.4 miles to the intersection with US Highway 14 (Humes Road). Turn right and go northwest on US Highway 14 for about 0.9 miles to the intersection with North Newville Road. Turn right and go north on North Newville Road for about 4.45 miles to the intersection with County Highway M.
