Located at the junction of Finger Rock trailhead and the Pontatoc Canyon trailhead is a fauna informative display that highlights the desert bighorn sheep that are native to the Catalina Mountains nearby. These sheep are a threatened species and the sign highlights their history and decline as a species and what humans can do to help protect them and their habitat.

Parking is at a parking lot south of the trailhead.
