One of many Henley family burials at the cemetery, when the Thurber boomtown days were over, they were able to relocate to nearby communities and maintain their connections to this cemetery. As of 2005, there have been ten Henleys buries here, even though Thurber ceased to exist as a functioning town in the 1930s.
James Thomas Henley and his wife buried infant twin boys here in 1908. Several of their other children lie here as well.
James Henley's tombstone reads as follows:
"[WOW Medallion] [Knights of Pythias Medallion]

JAMES T. HENLEY
Nov. 28, 1875
Jan. 8, 1930"
