Socha se nachází u kruhového objezdu na sjezdu ulic Masarykova, Nádražní a Rožnovská.

Nejstarší socha od neznámého autora pochází z roku 1742. Vznikla jako podekování za ústup pruského vojska z mesta a nechala ji postavit žena Ludvíka, hrabenka ze Žerotína. Její aliancní znak zde najdeme spolu s erbem jejího zesnulého manžela Františka Ludvíka ze Žerotína.

Svatý Florian je katolický svatý, mucedník. Zemrel za vlády císare Diokleciána. Protože se pri týrání nechtel vzdát Krista, byl usmrcen hozením do reky s kamenem privázaným ke krku. Svatý Florián je považován za patrona profesí, které souvisejí s ohnem – hasicu, hutníku, kominíku, hrncíru ci pekaru.

Holy Florian's Catholic saint and martyr. He died during the reign of Emperor Diocletian.
