In Rye, within the Odiorne Point State Park, is the Seacoast Science Center.

To get to the aquarium, enter at the main gate to the park, then follow the signs. Park in the main lot and walk down a paved path by ruins of a fort to the science center at the end of the path and with a view of the ocean.

The first room you enter is an open area with a whale skeleton suspended over you. There is the exhibit that looks like a natural pool left over from high tide with things to touch such as starfish.

Another room has various tanks with sea life in it. One of the tanks had three rare lobsters: a blue one, an orange one, and a calico one. Other tans had fish.

There was another room that fully enclosed a stone building = an old cottage that was saved. This also serves as a special function hall.
