Clarice O. Anderson was born Clarice Richman in Vermillion, South Dakota on 9 March 1886 - "when the town was little more than a roaring frontier". She married
Elmer Anderson (1884-1918, also from South Dakota). According to her FindAGrave entry:
Clarice celebrated her 100th birthday on March 9th, 1986 with her daughters, Evelyn Hendren and Marjorie Heckman. Also attending the celebration at Mrs. Hendren's home were Clarice resides, were three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one-great-great-grandchild. She received many cards and among them are cards from former President Nixon, Gerald Ford, and from President Reagan
She passed away 5 months later on 27 August 1986.
