STRONGSVILLE WATER TOWER is located behind Strongsville City Hall. In 1975 The Strongsville Sr High Secondary Mascot was Ziggy from the comic strips. After a few senior students made the insane trip to jump the fence beside the Strongsville Police Station, then climb the ladder to the water tower and spray painted "Ziggy 75"
somehow Ziggy's creator found out the love of his creation. So during the annual town celebration, Tom Wilson himself was lifted by the Strongsville Fire department and painted Ziggy next to our Original Mascot a mustang. He even signed the water tower. This is the only water tower in the world with this offical mark.
