This is a small Community Church built in 1888 for the City of Columbus, Washington. The city name was changed to Maryhill in 1909, but later when the train came through the town ceased to exist.
Now Columbus, WA is home to Maryhill State Park and a few orchards and vineyards. The city itself is no longer, but the First Day Advent Christian Church (now known as the Maryhill Community Church) was refurbished and now stands adjacent to the peach trees of the neighboring orchard.
I could find no information on the church itself, other than the little amount listed on the National Historic Register. It was listed in the register as the "First Day Advent Christian Church" in 1991, bldg. #91001439. The architects are listed as John and Charles Bennett, and the architectural style as Late Victorian. There was no information available about current church services, but in 1991 when it was listed it was functioning as a church.
