In the first verse of the old folk song 'Auf de Schwäb’sche Eisenbahne' are the most important stations of the train route named. The first one is 'Schtuegert' which is the name of 'Stuttgart' in the Swabian dialect.
It's not absolutly sure when this song was first established. But it was around 1853-94.
