Unfortunately, this clock is no longer operational, and one face is even missing its golden hands completely. Another face is caving into the clock. It is difficult to make out, but "Protection Equipment Minneapolis Minn." is referenced on the faces, and the numbers are slightly Gothic in their appearance. Some of those numbers appear wrinkled, perhaps unable to handle the New Mexico summer heat.
The name of the Farmers and Stockmens Bank appears on each face, but there is no indication as to when or why they placed the clock. It certainly is a good location to welcome people into town. Perhaps the bank was at this location at one point, or perhaps this was just good advertising on their part.
