Jan Kunc (používal pseudonym K. Jánoš, 27. brezna 1883, Doubravice nad Svitavou – 11. zárí 1976, Brno) byl ceský hudební skladatel a pedagog. Je autorem svetoznámé znelky Radia Vatikán "Kristus kraluje, Kristus vítezí" (Christus regnat, Christus vincit, Christus imperat). V roce 1935 vytvoril oficiální aranžmá ceské státní hymny.
V letech 1898 až 1902 navštevoval v Brne ucitelský ústav. Soubežne navštevoval i varhanický ústav (1901-1903), kde se jeho ucitelem stal Leoš Janácek. Dále v letech 1905-1906 studoval na pražské konservatori.
Z pocátku vyucoval na brnenských základních školách. Poté i na varhanické škole (1910–1913) a na hudební škole Besedy Brnenské (1908–1911, 1915–1917). V letech 1923–1945 se stal reditelem Státní konservatore v Brne. V roce 1947 byl jmenován dekanem na Janáckove akademii múzických umení. Následne v roce 1948 na šest let nastoupil jako profesor na pedagogické fakulte Masarykovy univerzity.

Jan Kunc (used the pseudonym K. Janos, March 27, 1883, Doubravice Svitavou - September 11, 1976, Brno) was a Czech composer and pedagogue. He is the author of famous jingles Vatican Radio "Christ reigns, Christ triumphs" (Christus Regnat, Christus vincit, Christus Imperata). In 1935 he created a formal arrangement Czech national anthem.
In the years 1898-1902 attended teachers college in Brno. Concurrently attended the Organ Institute (1901-1903), where his teacher became Leos Janacek. Furthermore, in 1905-1906 he studied at the Prague Conservatory.
Initially he taught at primary schools in Brno. Then at the Organ School (1910-1913) and the Music School Talks Brno (1908-1911, 1915-1917). In the years 1923-1945 he became director of the State Conservatory in Brno. In 1947 he was appointed dean of the Janacek Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Then in 1948 he joined for six years as a professor at the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University.
Bust itself is larger than life and is made entirely of sandstone.
