Located along the Klamath River is the John C Boyle Powerplant. There is a
citizen memorial located near the powerplant that highlights the man responsible,
John C. Boyle, for initiating this hydroelectric project and for which this powerplant was dedicated in his honor, in 1962. In recent years, there's been advocates of dam removal projects along the Klamath River as part of the Klamath Hydroelectric Settlement Agreement (KHSA), which provides a framework for the potential removal of PacifiCorp's Klamath River dams in 2020.
The following link will highlight this powerplant in more detail from the PacifiCorp website which also includes a datasheet on this project.
