EN: The regional court Waldshut-Tiengen is located between the old town of Waldshut and the train station. It is one of nine regional courts of the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe; its jurisdiction covers the district of Waldshut and the eastern part of the district Lörrach and is divided into five district courts.
The court was established in 1864 as a district court and converted into the Landgericht Waldshut in 1897. In 1960, it moved into the current courthouse. Since the merger of Waldshut, Tiengen and other towns to the city of Waldshut-Tiengen in 1975, the court is called Landgericht Waldshut-Tiengen.
DE: Das Landgericht Waldshut-Tiengen befindet sich zwischen der Altstadt von Waldshut und dem Bahnhof. Es ist eines von neun Landgerichten des Oberlandgerichts Karlsruhe; sein Gerichtsbezirk umfasst den Landkreis Waldshut und den östlichen Teils des Landkreises Lörrach und ist in fünf Amtsgerichte unterteilt.
Das Gericht wurde 1864 als Kreisgericht gegründet und 1897 in das Landsgericht Waldshut umgewandelt. 1960 wurde das gegenwärtige Gerichtsgebäude bezogen. Seit der Zusammenfassung von Waldshut, Tiengen und anderen Gemeinden zur Stadt Waldshut-Tiengen 1975 heisst das Gericht Landsgericht Waldshut-Tiengen.
