Located in Keno Cemetery is the homemade grave of Ben Gay. What's interesting to note is a confusion of names and identities listed with this grave on FindaGrave.com. It appears there was a Benjamen Gay who came West in 1908 and started a family with Hattie Shur Gay. They had nine children together, of which one of them was named Ben. I believe this homemade grave is of the younger Ben, since he was born in 1922 and died in 1992, as listed on his grave. His father, Benjamen, passed away in 1937 after suffering for a few years from an explosion. I could not locate the grave of Ben Sr. but his obituary and pictures of him are on FindaGrave.com and contain a picture of his son's grave, hence the confusion.
