There are several zinc grave markers and veterans gravesites. We were there around the Fourth of July and it was nice to see all the American Flags on the veterans' graves.
The cemetery was well maintained and a part of it overlooks Machiasport Bay. Lots of spring wildflowers were in bloom at the time we visited.
Machiasport was established over 250 years ago.
