Sbor dobrovolných hasicu Hostenice
V roce 2011 se sbor dožil 105. let od svého založení. V soucasné dobe má SDH Hostenice 45 clenu a oddíl mládeže a je nejvetší a nejstarší organizací v obci.
Z cásti clenské základny je vytvorena i místní výjezdová zásahová jednotka, které velí velitel Zbynek Klimeš. Pocet clenu je v soucasnosti 21 mužu. Jednotka má za úkol vyjíždet k požárum, technickým pomocím, haváriím a dalším událostem do 10 minut od vyhlášení poplachu.
Krome této cinnosti hlavní, porádají v obci celou radu kulturních akcí pro místní spoluobcany i nejmenší obyvatele. Je to napríklad každorocní Maškarní ples a Ostatky, Detský maškarní ples, zájezdy pro deti s tatínky, tradicní párové hody a další. Každorocne se taky vydávají s jejich chloubou - historickou konskou stríkackou na hasicskou pout do Krtin.
V soucasnosti disponujeme vozidlem CAS-25 Š 706,
motorovou stríkackou PPS 12 a plovoucím cerpadlem Honda.

Volunteer firefighters Hostenice
In 2011, the congregation lived 105 years since its founding. It currently has 45 members SDH Hostenice a section of youth and is the largest and oldest organization in the village.
In part, the member base is created and local CSU task force, commanded by Commander Zbynek Klimeš. The number of members is currently 21 men. The unit is designed to drive out the fires, technical aid, whereby, accidents and other incidents within 10 minutes of an alarm.
In addition to this main activity, held in the village a number of cultural events for local citizens, even the smallest inhabitants. It's as the annual Masquerade Ball and relics, Children's masquerade ball, trips for kids with dads, traditional feast and other pairs. Every year, also issued their pride - a historic horse syringe on Fire pilgrimage to the christening.
At present, the vehicle has a CAS-25 706,
motor syringe PPS 12 and a floating pump Honda.
