Vers les années 1890, un pont couvert enjambait la rivière Ulverton à la hauteur du moulin du même nom. Remplacé par un pont plat en 1952, il est rebâti à l'automne 1992 par une équipe de bénévoles. Le 17 juin 1993, il est détruit par un incendie d'origine criminelle.
Le pont a été reconstruit en 1993/1994. On a ajouté un passage piétonnier ainsi qu'un système automatique de sécurité contre le feu. Le nouveau pont a été inauguré le 18 juin 1994.
Towards the 1890s, a covered bridge spanning the Ulverton River at the mill of the same name. Replaced by a flat deck in 1952, it was rebuilt in the fall of 1992 by a team of volunteers. On 17 June 1993, it is destroyed by an arson fire.
The bridge was rebuilt in 1993/1994. A pedestrian crossing was added and an automatic safety system against fire. The new bridge was inaugurated June 18, 1994.

Le pont couvert Paul-Émile Giguère a été construit en 1993/1994. Il a été construit selon la tradition des ponts couverts du Québec. On a ajouté un annexe piétonnier afin de permettre le passage à pieds en tout sécurité pour les visiteurs du moulin à laine d'Ulverton.
The covered bridge Paul-Émile Giguère was built in 1993/1994. It was built in the tradition of covered bridges in Quebec. A pedestrian annex was added to allow the passage walk in complete safety for visitors Ulverton wool mill.
