The homemade tombstone for Esteban Herrera, made for his unmarked grave nearly a quarter century after his death, proved that he was not forgotten by those who loved him.

Blasterz have no evidence, but we think it likely that Esteban Herrera could have been a baby who died at birth or was stillborn, then his grave was marked by a sibling who survived and reached adulthood.

The simple stone is in Spanish, and reads as follows:

[SP]

ESTEBAN HERRERA
Fallecio Febr 6
1924

1946
RECUERDO DE
SU HERMANO

[EN]

1946
In memory of
his brother
Date of Death: 6 Feb 1924

Material: Concrete

Date of Birth: Not listed
