Locust Ridge Wind Farm is located near Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The turbines were built by Iberdola, a Spanish Public Multinational Electric Utility. The first phase began operation in 2006. The second phase went into op0eration in 2008. The calculated yearly production is 372,300 megawatt hours, enough to power 40,000 hoes in Northeast Pennsylvania.
