Built in 1898 as the Council Chambers, the building has an ornate facade with four arched windows . It was bought in 1913 by the Fire Brigade, they in turn sold it to a private buyer in 1946. It was used as a Doctor' surgery from 1980-1995, now it is used by an insurance company
