EN: The narrow river in Laufenburg was exploited early for a bridge. A bridge has been documented since 1207. Many predecessors were destroyed by natural disasters or wars and were rebuilt.

The current bridge with two arches dates from 1911. It is 41.5 meters long and was designed by the well-known bridge builder Robert Maillart together with the architects Joss and Klauser.

DE: Die enge Stelle bei Laufenburg wurde schon früh für eine Brücke ausgenutzt. Eine Brücke ist sein 1207 dokumentiert. Viele Vorgänger wurden durch Naturereignisse oder Kriege zerstört und wieder aufgebaut.

Die heutige Brücke mit zwei Bogen stammt von 1911. Sie ist 41.5 Meter lang und wurde vom bekannten Brückenbauer Robert Maillart zusammen mit den Architekten Joss und Klauser geplant.
