The statue sits in downtown Hollsiter. It shows Tognazinni on a three wheeled bike with an American flag on the back and waving. The plaque reads: "Eric Overcame the burden of physical disabilities with his outgoing personality and positive attitude towards life. Through this memorial, Eric's smile and wave will forever touch and inspire lives and hearts of the people of San Benito County."

From the obituary: "Eric Tognazzini passed way Friday morning at the age of 64.
As a native of Hollister, he was loved and respected by the whole community and received the Spirit of Hollister Award.Eric participated in the wheelchair soccer program and never let his handicap slow him down. He attended Sacred Heart School and was an avid Giant and 49ers fan." (visit link)
