Located next to a parking lot near a boat launch to Juanita Lake and near some interpretive displays is a boulder containing a plaque that reads:

RALPH R. LEAVERS
MEMORIAL
1965

IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF ONE WHO DID
SO MUCH FOR THE CONSERVATION OF
OUR WILDLIFE AND NATURAL RESOURCES
AND WHOSE EFFORTS CONTRIBUTED
GREATLY TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS
RECREATION AREA.

This memorial is in great shape for being 50 years of age.
