This red K6 telephone box is on the south east side of Lea Bridge Road outside the Carnegie Lea Bridge Library.

The box is in good condition with the paintwork starting to fade but the glazing is complete and the box is clean inside. The box is Grade II listed with the entry at the Historic England website telling us:

Telephone kiosk . Type K6. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosks with domed roof. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and door.
