At the 'Schlossplatz' in the center of Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg, nearby to the 'Neues Schloss' (New Palace) is the so-called 'Kunstgebäude' (Arts Building) located. This historical building is listed in the German Monument Registers.
The building was built 1910-13 by plans of the architect Theodor Fischer. It was a donation by the king to the people of Württemberg.
The Kunstgebäude has been demaged in World War II. It has been renovated 1956-61.
It is still used for the exibition of arts by the local arts club 'Kunstverein Stuttgart'. 2013-16 it is used as the parliament building of Baden-Württemberg while the nearby parliament building 'Landtag' is renovated.
The building was listed in the German Monument Registers before 1972.
