Located just west of the sidewalk on west of the southbound lanes of Flamingo Road, approximately 420 feet north the extended centerline of an entrance road to Memorial Hospital and Pembroke Lakes Mall.

Stations SMITH and SMITH RESET have been reported destroyed - only this azimuth mark remains.

Note: There is a Florida DOT mark just south of SMITH AZ MK that is not listed in the NGS database and is often confused with SMITH AZ MK by inexperienced geocaching benchmark hunters.
