The theme of this mural is the Philippines. On the south wall there is a lot of national symbolism, including the Philippine Eagle, the national bird. The mural shows rice fields, hills and mountains; beaches and islands. There is a long tailed boat in the scene. The portrait at the right is of Dr. Jose Rival, a national hero of the Philippines.
Beside him is the national fruit and beside that on the end wall is the national flower, the Sampaguita. The colourful roosters and chickens on the east wall are very common in the Philippines. The Jeepney is a common form of transportation. This one is a little fancier than most. "Medina" is the last name of the store's owners, and "Cavite" is the province where they're from.
