EN: The former mill of Arisdorf located at the northern entrance to the village.
The mill was mentioned in the 16th century as already existing for a long time. However, it was rebuilt and changed again and again. The oldest part that still exists is the economy-annex from 1747. The main building was rebuilt in 1820. The house has two stories to the west, the east side has a high basement with a large entrance door above the deeper lying ground. Although only coming from the 19th century, the house still has many of the elements that belong stylistically to the Baroque.
The mill ceased operation in 1962; today it houses is a food and beverage trade.
DE: Die ehemalige Mühle von Arisdorf befindet sich am nördlichen Dorfeingang.
Die Mühle wurde bereits im 16. Jahrhundert als schon lange bestehend erwähnt. Sie wurde aber immer wieder umgebaut und verändert. Der älteste Teil, der heute noch existiert ist der Ökonomie-Anbau von 1747. Das Hauptgebäude wurde 1820 neu gebaut. Das Haus ist im Westen zweistöckig, die Ostseite hat noch ein hohes Kellergeschoss mit einem Eingangstor über dem tiefer liegenden Boden. Obwohl erst aus dem 19. Jahrhundert stammend, besitzt das Haus noch viele Elemente, die stilistisch zum Barock gehören.
Der Mühlebetrieb wurde 1962 eingestellt; heute befindet sich ein Lebensmittel- und Getränkehandel darin.
