"The Plaza de la Merced has dawned this morning without the seated statue of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The figure of the great painter has been damaged this morning and early the day was no longer sitting in his bench.

A local police patrol found this morning the Pablo Picasso statue about 50 meters from where it is located but apparently undamaged. Apparently, the vandalism has perpetrate because a large group of people forced the figure, since two bolts securing the image to the bank on which it sits.
