In the late 1970s it was noticed that many of the nursing students and staff from the nearby Sydney Adventist Hospital were 'missing' from the main church services, and some alternate services were organised to be held in the Wahroonga Activities Centre (which has subsequently been demolished), between the Church and the Hospital.
It became its' own Church with a permanent building behind the Wahroonga Church.
