EN: The history museum Baden is located on the eastern bank of the Limmat in Landvogteischloss and an adjacent expansion building of 1993. Since the opening of the expansion, it is the main entrance and Landvogteischloss is connected by an underground passage.
The museum focuses in its permanent exhibition on over 2000 years of local history and the development of the baths and the industry. There are also regular temporary exhibitions and other events.
DE: Das historische Museum Baden befindet sich am östlichen Limmatufer im Landvogteischloss und einem benachbarten Erweiterungsbau von 1993. Seit Eröffnung der Erweiterung befindet sich der Haupteingang dort und das Landvogteischloss ist durch einen unterirdischen Gang verbunden.
Das Museum beschäftigt sich in seiner Dauerausstellung mit der über 2000-jährigen Stadtgeschichte der Entwicklung der Bäder und der Industrie. Daneben gibt es regelmässige Wechselausstellungen und weitere Veranstaltungen.
