Marker is located on the north side of Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax. It is near the gravesite.

Marker text reads:

The Right Honourabe
Sir Charles Tupper
(1821-1915)

Sir Charles Tupper, a father of Confederation, was a
distinguished medical doctor who also had a long and successful
career of public service. As premier of Nova Scotia (1864-1867)
he led his province into Confederation. He spent more than 30
years in national politics including 69 days as Canada's prime minister in 1896.

Tupper retired as Conservative leader in 1901. he died in Britain in 1915 at the age of 94 and was brought home to be buried.
