"Oeconomiegebouw" or Transformerhouse built in 1927 in the style of the “Nieuwe Haagse School” designed by the Hague architect S. de Clercq.
Gray brick built free-standing single-ply building, consisting of an assembly of cubic building mass relative to each other which are mutually different in height, and are offset relative to each other. The building masses are covered by a slightly protruding concrete cover and underneath when closing the right closed facades a course.
This building is in the public interest because of the cultural and architectural historical value - as spatial and functional part of the WAVO Park - as a characteristic example of a small functional building from the 20s in the style the "Nieuwe Haagse School".
