The former Southern Pacific passenger depot in downtown Del Rio still serves the rail-travelling public as an Amtrak depot serving the Sunset Limited rail line.

The Southern Pacific Railroad built this Spanish Revival passenger depot in downtown Del Rio in the 1920s. In 2015, it still serves the rail-travelling public as an Amtrak depot on the Sunset Limited line (San Antonio to Los Angeles), with a connection to the Texas Eagle (San Antonio-Chicago).
