BO0159 1 -- Ozona TX - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Blasterz had little hope of finding this cool lead plug benchmark disk. It was monumented by a local surveyor, but had never been found.

Not only did we find it, we reported it found to the National Geodetic Survey!

Lots of folks have found the standard US Coast and Geodetic Survey benchmark disk a less than a foot away -- but they all missed this very subtle lead plug benchmark disk. We only saw it because it had numbers stamped in it that matched he datasheet. We had never seen a benchmark disk like it. (Sure made it easier to find its companion across the square -- See BO0160).
