The South Shore Fish Shack is located on Montague St. in downtown Lunenburg. There is a small indoor seating area, with a larger outside patio area and some rustic seats in the front. This a fairly new restaurant, opening in December, 2013. It is one of three local restaurants operated by the owners, all seafood-based.

When we dropped in there was fresh halibut, haddock and cod available, as well as shellfish, and lobster. Prices were reasonable and the food was super!

Off season hours are daily 11 AM to 4 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM,
