Kostel svatého Jakuba Staršího je rímskokatolický chrám v obci Omice v okrese Brno-venkov. Je chránen jako kulturní památka Ceské republiky.Omický kostel byl vystaven v románském slohu zrejme ve 12., nejpozdeji na zacátku 13. století severovýchodne od místní místní tvrze (na míste dnešního domu cp. 84), pricemž empora chrámu byla s tvrzí spojena drevenou chodbou. V 17. století byl kostel upraven barokne. Jedná se o jednolodní chrám s pulkruhove ukonceným knežištem (se zazdenými románskými okny) a na severní strane pristavenou sakristií obdélného pudorysu. Na streše se nachází zvonicová vížka. Kolem kostela se do roku 1902 nacházel hrbitov.

Church of St. James the Greather is a Roman Catholic church in the village Omice district Brno-country. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech republiky. Church of Omice was built in the Romanesque style, probably in the 12th, at the latest at the beginning of the 13th century, northeast of the local local fortress (at the site of the present house no. 84), the empora temple was associated with a fortress wooden walkway . In the 17th century the church was modified in the Baroque style. It is a single-nave church with a semicircular chancel completed (it bricked Romanesque windows), and on the north side of the sacristy attached a rectangular layout. On the roof is belfry turret. The church is in 1902 a cemetery.
