DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1969 5.5 MI W FROM NASHVILLE. ABOUT 5.5 MILES WEST ALONG THE LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD FROM THE UNION STATION IN THE SOUTH ANGLE OF THE INTERSECTION OF HARDING ROAD (U.S. HIGHWAY 70S) AND BELLE MEADE BOULEVARD. IT IS 157.5 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE SOUTHEAST RAIL OF THE RAILROAD, 142 FEET SOUTH OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION OF HARDING ROAD AND BELLE MEADE BOULEVARD, 55 FEET NORTH OF A 30-INCH RED MAPLE TREE, 45 FEET WEST OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF THE SOUTHBOUND LANE OF BELLE MEADE BOULEVARD, 43 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF HARDING ROAD, AND 29 FEET EAST OF UTILITY AND LAMP POLE NO. 10426-14. IT IS A STANDARD DISK CEMENTED IN A DRILL HOLE NEAR THE EAST END OF THE TOP OF A CONCRETE HEADWALL IN THE SOUTH ANGLE OF THE STREETS, AND THE DISK IS STAMPED 2569 TGS RESET 1969. NO WITNESS POST SET, MARK IN TENDED AREA.
