The sculptural overlook was commissioned by the Maryhill Museum of Art to feature the sites breathtaking views of the Columbia Gorge. To the South are views of the Gorge, to the North, views of the bluffs, and West, a side view of Maryhill Mansion - home of the Maryhill MOA. You are also able to view Mt. Hood, Horsethief Lake petroglyph area 14 miles to the West, and the full size replica of Stonehenge 3 miles to the East from this area.The overlook is part of the Maryhill Museum of Art. Be sure to visit the museum to see the Rodin collection, and also stop in the sculpture garden to the North of the overlook area. Be sure to check out the additional photos in this waymarks gallery.
