EN: The church treasure Museum of Baden is located in the vault above the sacristy of the town church.
It is one of the most important ecclesiastical treasures of the Canton Aargau. In addition to valuable examples of the gold- and silversmith's craft, the collection also includes a wide variety of liturgical clothing from the Middle Ages to modern times.
The church treasure museum can be visited by appointment. In addition, there is a guided tour with free admission about once a month.
DE: Das Kirchenschatzmuseum von Baden befindet sich im Gewölbe über der Sakristei der Stadtkirche.
Es handelt sich um einen der bedeutendsten Kirchenschätze des Kantons Aargau. Neben wertvollen Zeugnissen des Gold- und Silberschmiedehandwerks enthält die Sammlung auch eine grosse Auswahl an liturgischen Bekleidungen von Mittelalter bis in die Neuzeit.
Das Kirchenschatzmuseum kann nach telefonischer Vereinbarung besichtigt werden. Ausserdem gibt es ungefähr einmal pro Monat eine öffentliche Führung mit freiem Eintritt.
