This cornerstone for the gorgeous 1928 Art Deco style Zavala County courthouse, pulled from the rubble after the bulldozewrs has knocked the building down, and later and stuck in a concrete pedestal in front of the 1970 medical-office-style Zavala County courthouse.
Blasterz are certain that the Zavala County courthouse is the ugliest courthouse in Texas, not only because it is been allowed to molder and rot over the years, but because it so badly landscaped that thew whole complex looks like a squat sandwich on moldy bread.
This old cornerstone is all that remains of the glorious 1928 courthouse. What a loss.
