Sign is situated to the left of the gatehouse just inside the entrance to the Priory. Priory is open to the public free of charge. Inside the gatehouse on the right is the porter's lodge. All tradesmen reported called there, a gate between the lodge and the exit from the gatehouse blocking further access to the Priory. The building had two floors with a spiral staircase for access.
