The village green in Histon has a brook running through it. A picturesque spot which attracts many visitors, with a large grassy area, beautiful trees and a variety of interesting houses around. The village pump still stands its original position and it is thought that at one time there were stocks nearby.
The pump has been renovated by the Histon & Impington Village Society, and is recorded on a plaque. The manufacturer is possibly Bamford's.
