In Groton, along Vermont Route 232 within Groton State Forest, is this lookout and table overlooking Groton Lake.
The turnout is on the east side of the road. The sign is at a clearing where a portion of Groton Lake is visible, along with hills beyond the lake.
The sign has a picture and leader lines to important landmark features, along with a some historical information. Landmark features include Lake Groton, Boulder Beach State Park, Gravel Pit, Jennison Mountain, and Devil's Hill - all are also in the main picture.
There is no admission into the state forest.
