For some reason, Find-A-Grave has a listing, for this memorial. It is not a cemetery, and some, but not all are interred in the Ft. Meade Cemetery, so I am at a loss as to why, but here it is anyway.
Proper Description: Monument is a reasonably tall ( about 5 feet on outside wings), and to itself on the Fort Meade parade grounds.
The center section contains a copper reproduction of the 4th Cavalry shoulder patch, and the text shown in the long description.
The wings list the names, not identified as KIAs or as Served.
The left wing is titled 24 Cavalry but is also 4th Cavalry. The right wing is titled 4th Cavalry.
I am confused a bit by Army unit designations, sometimes the same name means different units,. I am a Marine, so their chain of command in unit identification is a bit puzzling to me
