From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W, first on US20 then ORE242, for 10.0 miles to the intersection with the Cross District Trail. Park and hike generally ESE for 1.5 mile on the dirt road, then cross-country about 240' S to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in mound of stones; rising 5"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are two orange Carsonite posts. One with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals bears S, 2' distant. The other with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal bears E, 2' distant. In addition, PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs are mounted on a U-post which bears E, 5' distant. Found four trees, each with a scribed blaze painted red, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. Two trees are stumps, 8' and 10' tall, and the one nearest the corner is a rotting snag.

Land SE from the corner is private property, else Deschutes National Forest
