Roy’s Place has been a stop for hungry travellers on the #2 highway for over 20 years. Located in the center of Claresholm, they are not hard to find.

While stopping at the Visitor's Centre in Charesholm, I noticed Roy's Place and decided to get something to go. I went in and asked what they would recommend, Dill Pickle Soup...
Yes, that is correct, it was surprisingly delicious. Roy's Place is so well known, and a favorite eatery of the locals. They were primarily a breakfast hangout, however they have expanded also include lunch and dinner menus. As I was leaving I noticed a bulletin board with articles about the restaurant and owner, Kieth Carlson, being featured on "You Gotta to Eat Here!", and "Chopped Canada".
Of course after taking a picture of the sign I noticed "You Gotta To Eat Here!" was in clear view.
