Metcalfe & District Lions Club was chartered on 19 November, 1959 under the sponsorship of Russell Lions Club and incorporated on 16 July, 1962.
This Lions Den is situated on 8th Line Road (previously known as Albert Street), about 1 km south of the main crossroad (identifyable by its red flashing lights) in the centre of the village of Metcalfe. It is located directly opposite Osgoode Township High School.
The Den can also be rented for private functions. Availability can be established by contacting the Metcalfe Agricultural Society at 613-821-0591.

Dinner meetings are held at the Den at 7:15 pm on the second and fourth wednesdays of each month from September to June inclusive.
Executive meetings are held on the third wednesday of each month throughout the year, also at 7:15 pm.
