Blasterz were wondering why there was no Veterans Memorial in front of the Uvalde County courthouse. It's because the County Veterans memorial is here, in Garden of Heroes Park.
The bilingual English-Spanish grey granite memorial plaque affixed to a large concrete semi-wall is the centerpiece of a leafy park (in a floodplain) at 801 West Main Street (US 90) in downtown Uvalde. It is dedicated to veterans of all wars who died in service to the United States.
