This is another outstanding mural completed in 2003. A Claresholm Celebration features a town gathering on a warm summer day. The attention to detail of the vintage clothing, horse drawn wagon and the happy faces of the children draws you in for a closer look.

This is a large mural that covers the entire side of the building. The wall is 14' x 103' and took approximately 25 gallons of paint.

The mural features with over 150 figures in an image depicting the town meeting for a holiday celebration in 1912, visiting, picnicking, playing baseball, and gathering at the bandstand to hear live music by the town band. The distinctive line of the Porcupine Hills can be seen in the distance.

Artist Keith Holmes is from Galiano Island, BC and has painted over 30 murals in B.C. and Alberta.

Stan Phelps was born and raised in Calgary, attending the University of Calgary with a major in painting and printmaking. Mr. Phelps is best known for the five murals at the Calgary Stampede, the view of Calgary Bay, Scotland at City Hall and a speed skating mural located at the Calgary International Airport.
